About Alana

I'm a specialist in empowering women to reach their full potential, overcoming anxiety and depression, and embracing lives filled with increased happiness and fulfillment through hypnotherapy.

I attended open studies at the U of A in anthropology and psychology where I spent much of my time curious about hypnosis. When I learned that I would have no education in that subject until after at least a Bachelors of Arts I started looking for other possibilities.

I was first certified through ARCH as a Registered hypnotherapist in Edmonton in February 2014. Over the years I had a practice in Edmonton until 2016, when I moved to New Zealand and practiced there part time. I’ve had three children in that time and took a break from my practice upon returning to Canada in late 2019.

Since then, I have upgraded my skills to become a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist through ARCH and my life is in a place to reopen my practice and return to empowering women.

I am well versed in helping women who are unhappy with where they are in their lives

Hypnotherapy offers a holistic approach to healing, allowing women to access their inner resources to overcome challenges

Have you ever felt stuck or dissatisfied with where you're at in your life? Most people probably have, but if it gets to a point where you have difficulty enjoying your life, it's time for something to change.

Hypnotherapy can help women reframe negative thought patterns, release emotional blockages, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. By addressing the root causes of trauma and working towards resolution, hypnotherapy empowers women to regain control over their lives and find healing from within.

By accessing the subconscious mind, hypnotherapy can address the intricate interplay between emotions, past experiences, sexual response, and connection to others.

To improve the lives of women who have young families and are struggling with anxiety, depression, poor connection with spouse and children, sexual dysfunction, or who are unhappy with career development or family life.
